Standing on a small peninsula with 250 degree views of marshland and the Kiawah River is a gorgeous zinc-roofed shingle style home. A blend of traditional and contemporary, this house is designed to highlight and capture the surrounding nature. The fa├žade is highlighted by a large contemporary window, which is inspired by the Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio, and exposes light filled interiors. The open floor design is casual, but sophisticated using all natural elements and colors – wood, iron and linen meant to complement the views of the outdoors.

The wide plank white oak floors are finished to resemble ocean driftwood. A beautiful open-air living room overlooks a view of the infinity pool, kayak dock, and fire pit that sits on its own little island, inviting guests to explore the natural beauty of the land. Inside, enjoy a carefully curated Contemporary Art Collection that adds depth and color to the neutral palate interior. Each room looks out upon vast marsh and river views providing a tranquil retreat for all.
