The footprint of this home follows a 180 degree arced shoreline of a lagoon, which appealed to the homeowners’ desire for curving design elements throughout the house. Situated in the Settlement neighborhood, the home has spectacular views of the 12th green and 13th tee of Kiawah’s River Course. Sweeping radial lines are found throughout and set the theme for many of the interior rooms. The entryway door features a two-panel recessed design with inset beadwork that is mimicked in detailing throughout the house. American cherry hardwood flooring invites guests inside, and inspired the custom curved staircase handrail. A neutral color palette prevails, creating a warm and inviting setting. An elevated hot tub and pool overlook maritime forests and the rolling landscape of the River Course.
