Thank you so much for all your wonderful comments and support, I am deeply touched by your words. For those who missed the location of the Rural Murals, one is located on Pinckney Street on the side of the Arts Center and the two Mosaic tile murals are located on Lincoln Road at Lincoln Middle High School on the entrance to the main Building. Thank you again for your continued support of the arts and our students. Have a peaceful and artful summer.

Sincerely,
Annie Purvis

I am so excited to hear about the completion of the mural. A few of my colleagues and I had visited Lincoln Middle-High School last spring. We sat in on Mr. Ochram's math class during which students were scaling up the initial design. Everyone seemed excited to work on such a dynamic project and I remember being impressed by the determination of the students.

Congratulations to everyone who was involved!

I am so touched by this beautiful mosaic, It is a masterpiece to me.
Art gives us energy and strength for our everyday life. I am a artist in
Little Rock, Arkansas and art is a peaceful place for me. Those wonderful
children will always have such a lovely memory of doing this piece and it
was such a great way for each of them to express themselves. Lately,
i believe more than ever that we humans cannot deny ourselves the need for something authentic even sublime . Art can do that and i wish i had
art when i was in high school. I am a self taught artist. Patricia Miller
