Through our complicated history, through light and shadow, we have persevered – humanity intact.
Art is the reason.

Placeholder

On April 22, the Women’s Council of the Carolina Art Association/Gibbes Museum of Art celebrated 60 years of supporting the museum. The Women’s Council, founded in 1950, celebrated the milestone by announcing a partnership with the Charleston Parks Conservancy to beautify the Gibbes Courtyard garden. Thank you to the Women’s Council for your incredible efforts over the past 60 years!
