Where is there a list of the current board of directors?
Excellent piece on “Mrs. Gilmore goes to New York”. Who knew the incredible detail involved in preparing art for travel. The New York Armory iand its Winter Antiques Show is lucky to borrow this beautiful painting, so meticulously cared for by Gibbes’ professionals. Wish this exhibit was highlighted in this week’s New Yorker magazine. It should be!
Under the picture with Zinnia Willits the caption reads:
“Zinnia Willits and Sara Arnold asses the condition of an outgoing loan object.”
Someone may want to correct that to read ‘assess’.
Otherwise a very interesting blog. Mr Daly does great work and I look forward to seeing how this progresses.
Best Regards,
Robert F. Schmitz
Dear Mr. Schmitz, Thank you for catching that unfortunate typo! It’s been updated. Keep an eye out this week for an update by Jeff Daly and the progress of the renovation project. Best, Lasley Steever
