Born in London and educated at Oxford University, Plum Sykes is a contributing editor for American Vogue, and has written two bestselling novels. Her experiences reporting on the lifestyle of the rich and famous gave her the inspiration for her first book, Bergdorf Blondes, published in 2004 and on the New York Times bestseller list for 16 weeks. Her second novel, Debutante Divorcee, published in 2006, was also a bestseller. Her third novel and comic murder mystery, Party Girls Die in Pearls, published in May 2017, will be available to purchase at the Art of Design Luncheon and Lecture.
