Mantras & Mandalas: A Teen Yoga Journey through the Chakras, Ages 12-17

Class Canceled

Students are guided through the Chakras with art, movement and sound with founder of Yoga Mama, Amy Kopen Kassis. In this introduction to yoga practices each activity will focus on a specific chakra. The colors, yoga poses, mantras, as well as real life connections such as stress, communication and love will be explored throughout the workshop. Teens will then create their chakra mandalas in a self portrait. The class will conclude with discussing the connections by joining the yoga flow, art creations and how they can apply to their home practice in practical life situations. All art materials are included, but please bring a yoga mat and water. This is an entry level course.

We are so sorry to cancel this class. However, after speaking with the instructor we feel it is the best decision at this point. Please check out our camp listing for Summer 2020, including an Art and Yoga camp for ages 9-12.
