The Accidental Preservationist

November 13, 2017 @ 10:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Downtown Charleston

Seven years ago, Juliana Falk purchased an 1810 Federal-style home in downtown Charleston, built by the enigmatic Simon Chancognie, a merchant and French consul to the US. During the course of restoration and preservation of the historic building and grounds, Faulk uncovered intriguing secrets beneath the many layers of the house and garden. Enjoy light refreshments and a fascinating behind-the-scenes tour of the Chancognie House with the owner and self-described “Accidental Preservationist.” Optional lunch at a nearby restaurant to follow.

Exact Downtown Charleston location will be provided closer to the event date.
