All groups—from PreK–12, and college to adult groups—are invited to explore the Museum's exhibitions on their own, or with an outside educator. Self-guided tours have a 10-person minimum and must take place during the Museum's public hours. There is no time limit for self-guided groups, and participants may remain in the Museum, or re-enter after the conclusion of their tour.DOWNLOAD REQUEST FORM
Tuesdays - Fridays and Second Sundays at 2:30pm, Wednesday at 5:30pm
Designed for the walk-in visitor, this one-hour tour led by a Museum Docent, curator, or special guest highlights important artists and works from our permanent collection and special exhibitions. No advance registration is required. Check our online calendar for tour topics.

To schedule a tour, please email your request to email@example.com or call 843.722.2706 x237. Reservations are contingent upon availability, and tours are not scheduled until confirmed via telephone. Please have the following information available when booking:
We request that cancellations occur in writing at least three business days before your scheduled visit. Please email your cancellation to firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that refunds will NOT be given for reservations cancelled less than one business day before the scheduled date. Groups will be responsible for their minimum tour fee if they are a no show, or cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled tour time. Please be prompt. Groups more than 30 minutes late will forfeit their time slot.
You may pay for your tour by cash, check, money order, or credit card. Tours must be paid for at least three days before the scheduled date. Checks or money orders should be made payable to The Gibbes Museum of Art. Please be sure to write the words “Group Tour” on the check or money order. We’re sorry that we cannot give reimbursements if there are fewer people in your group than initially scheduled.
While we don’t have an indoor lunch space, in warmer weather, groups may reserve our outdoor courtyard for picnics. We invite school groups to store bagged lunches in the classrooms.
