Elizabeth Mary McPherson (Mrs. James Reid Pringle)

This locket is inscribed "E.M. McPherson aged 9 years." Elizabeth was the daughter of General John McPherson and as a young woman suffered a traumatic event. Her father drowned in a shipwreck of the "Rose in Bloom" while she survived. According to legend she dreamt of the impending disaster on three previous nights.
