General Christopher Gadsden

Christopher Gadsden was a South Carolina patriot of the American Revolution and was a delegate to the Continetal Congress. He also designed the famous Gadsden Flag: a yellow flag with a coiled rattlesnake and the memorable phrase "Don't Tread on Me."
