General John McPherson

McPherson served as lieutenant colonel and was later promoted to General during the American Revolution. He wears a Brigadier General's uniform from the Continental Army. This is a one-star general position in the army, as noted by the single silver star on either shoulder of his coat. He lost his life during the shipwreck of the "Rose in Bloom."
