A Return to the Grand Tour: Micromosaic Jewels from the Collection of Elizabeth Locke, the Gibbes Museum will bring together experts, scholars, and the collector herself to discuss the Grand Tour of the nineteenth century and the era’s fascination with the classics and societal requisite travel to the “cradle of western civilization.”
