Animal Adventures Family Day
Animal pose yoga, artmaking activities, a photo booth, bunny cuddles and more! Join us for a day full of animals, art, and engaging activities for the whole family. From storytime in the galleries to meeting animals in the garden there is something for everyone. See the full schedule below and please note that some events are scheduled and some are ongoing.

Family Day Schedule
10:30am-11am | Animal Pose Yoga | No yoga mat required
11am-11:30 | Family Storytime with the Charleston County Public Library
11:30-12pm | Drop-in Art activity with Janellify

Food and Snacks*
The Riverdogs Food Truck will be onsite from 11am-2pm selling delicious ballpark treats for the whole family.
Independent Grounds will be onsite from 1-3pm selling a sweet pick-me-up with a scrumptious hot chocoalte bar.

Low Stimulation Area
The Gibbes Museum of Art is offering a low stimulation room at the Animal Adventure Family day; this room will be a place of minimal sounds, lowered lights, and comfortable seating. This room is available to all patrons that attend this event, and it will be located on the first floor during the event.

South Carolina Department of Natural Resources - Marine Resrouces
-The Marine Resources Division is responsible for the management and conservation of the state's marine and estuarine resources. The division conducts monitoring and research on the state’s marine resources and makes recommendations for the management of those resources. Research is aimed at understanding life histories and the impacts of nature and man on important marine organisms. The division is headquartered at Fort Johnson on Charleston Harbor.
