Joseph Sulkowski will discuss his masterwork project,
APOKALUPSIS, an Uncovering, in which he uses Foxhounds as symbolic representations of the truths of human existence. A student of
Frank Mason at the Art Students League of New York, Sulkowski learned the traditional principals of painting in the 17th century Flemish, Dutch, and Italian techniques. He refers to his style of painting as "poetic realism," an interpretive form inspired by the natural world.
In this virtual event, Sulkowski will give a 30 minute visual presentation on his career as a sporting arts painter and discuss techniques and inspiration that led to his magnum opus, APOKALUPSIS. We will open the conversation for audience Q&A. Bring your own beverage and apps to join in the fun!
The program will be presented on the ZOOM platform, and the link and instructions will be sent to registrants the day prior to the event.
