Step back in time and tour a vast ecological wonderland at Hobcaw Barony.
In 1905 Bernard Baruch, a native South Carolinian who made his fortune on Wall Street, purchased 16,000 acres as a hunting retreat in Georgetown County. His daughter Belle spent many idyllic years at Hobcaw and built her home, Bellefield Plantation, on the site.
Participants will tour the estate including Hobcaw House and Bellefield House and stables with Lee Brockington, senior interpreter at Hobcaw Barony.
Lunch: 12PM
Tour: 1:30-4PM
