Introduction to Figure Drawing with Stephen Herchak

Class Canceled Class meets on Wednesdays, March 22, April 5, and 12 from 6-8pm. Introduction to the basics of drawing the head, body, and limbs to accurately portray an entire human figure. Working from a nude model, you will use both quick observation sketches of numerous poses as well as longer more detailed studies. Gain basic skills in proportions and spatial relationships in drawing and acquire the knowledge and confidence to render the human figure more convincingly. Adults only. Supplies: Vine and compressed charcoal, newsprint pad and several sheets of medium drawing paper (18x24), kneaded and gum erasers, chamois cloth, baby or Clorox wipes for hands.
