Designed for artists of all levels, this oil painting workshop will explore techniques and inspirations for creating thoughtful compositions across two canvases. This workshop will begin by exploring the historical significance of diptychs and how they've evolved into a contemporary form of expression. Historically, painted diptychs were created as a method for private devotion. Today, the format continues to be an evocative way to elevate any subject matter. Through guided instruction, participants will learn to plan and execute a dynamic, dual-canvas painting with consideration to visual balance, harmony, and storytelling.

Supplies provided, including 8x10 canvas panels and all oil painting materials.
