
Virtual Monoprints with Lese Corrigan
Class meets for three sessions on Tuesdays, September 1, 8, and 15 from 6:30-8pm.Inspired by the masterful works of Sam Gilliam featured in Building a Legacy, artist and gallery owner Lese Corrigan will teach the fun and fast-paced technique of monoprinting.
The class will take place over Zoom moderated by a Gibbes staff member. Call information will be sent out to registrants before the start of class.

Suggested Materials: Acrylic plates (2 or more, 5 x7 ish and 9 x 12 ish)Palette (can be any of these things – old plate, plastic plate, another acrylic sheet, disposable paper palates, wax paper taped down, or enameled butchers tray)Ink: Speedball black and your favorite colorsCaran d’arche water soluble crayonsBrushesPaper: 9 x 12 ish and 12 x 16 ish (depending on size of acrylic plate), Kozo and Arches or similarBamboo spatula or spoonSketch padPapertowelsSoapWater access for clean up
