Class meets on Monday, April 8 from 10am-4pm. Both watercolor (transparent) and gouache (opaque) paints will be explored with Anne E. McCormick in this one-day workshop. Anne will teach through hands on demonstrations with lessons focused on technique, color and composition. Captivating still life arrangements will be set up for inspiration. She will also have art books and photos on hand, and students are welcome to bring objects, photographs, or prints from which to draw inspiration. A bit of Art History will be sprinkled in the presentation. Suggested Supplies: A watercolor and/or gouache set of paints, watercolor pencils (optional) set of watercolor brushes, Watercolor paper (your choice: smooth or textured), Palette (or palette paper), Small spray bottle for water (optional), Small/Medium containers for water, Paper towels and/or rags, Q-tips (optional), Pencil and art eraser, Old shirt, apron or smock Most supplies can be purchased at Artist & Craftsman Uptown located at 981 King Street. $125 Members | $150 Non-Members
