Ken Smith

Following a 21-year Naval career as a plastic and reconstructive surgeon, and 12 years in private practice, Dr. Ken Smith returned to his passion for the arts. Upon retirement, Smith began to work in stone and other media including terracotta, wood, and bronze. He now focuses on stone carving and "expressionistic figurative sculpture." Smith's works are in the collections of Brookgreen Gardens, The Smithsonian, and the British Museum, among others. Open Studio Hours: Monday—Friday 12noon—4pm
