Mary Jackson is an internationally-recognized master of sweetgrass basketry. A recipient of the MacArthur Fellowship (commonly referred to as the MacArthur Genius Grant) in 2008, and many awards since then, Jackson's work is in major collections around the world and is prized by collectors and scholars alike.
