Porter-Gaud School students created a mural to commemorate the 9/11 tragedies in New York City. Their mural was sent to New York, and hung in a center for the families of the victims at Pier 94 until the office closed. Rediscovered, it will hang in the 9/11 Memorial Museum at Ground Zero in lower Manhattan when it opens in September 2012.
In the presence of art, we have the opportunity to see inside someone’s heart, mind, and soul and feel what they felt.
