An Evening with Victoria Wyeth

March 24, 2021 @ 6:00 PM - 7:15 PM

Virtual Program

Join us for a glimpse into the private life and works of iconic American painter Andrew Wyeth (1917–2009). From his first drawings as a six-year-old boy to his last composition in 2008, Victoria Browning Wyeth, the only grandchild of iconic artist Andrew Wyeth, offers a unique and personal perspective on the art of this beloved artist. Andrew Wyeth always told her, “I paint my life,” whether it was people he knew, places he saw, or dreams he experienced. She will examine his work and technique, including masterpieces like Christina’s World, Master Bedroom, and Wind from the Sea, while also sharing family stories, sketches, and other seldom seen works.
