Gibbes Film in Focus returns with a suite of handpicked films that examine man’s relationship to and impact on our natural environment. From award-winning anime to speculative futures, join us as we unpack the effects of deforestation and
pollution through the lens of great filmmaking.

The film will be introduced by Devon Andrews, Director of Partnerships and Engagement with the Charleston Parks Conservancy. Andrews is curretnly working on revitalizing a wonderful program (launching in April 2023) called Charleston Trees which will focus on increasing the tree canopy in the City of Charleston through education, neighborhood tree plantings, and tree giveways.
