Curator-led adult tours give your group the opportunity to explore our permanent collection or a special exhibition for groups of 10 or more. For a VIP experience, guests can book a Director-led tour of the collection or exhibitions. Subject to availability.
Guided tours with a Museum Interpreter are available to groups of 10 or more. These discussion-based tours inspire dialogue about the works on view. If your group is smaller than 10, you have the option for the buyout price of 10 people.
All groups — from PreK-12, and college to adult groups — but are invited to explore the Museum's exhibitions on their own, or with an outside educator. Self-guided tours have a 10-person minimum and must take place during the Museum's public hours. The buyout price of 10 people is an option if your group is smaller than 10.

We invite all K-12 school groups to experience the Museum’s permanent collection and special exhibitions. Choose from a list of interactive & interdisciplinary themes to meet your needs.

We request that cancellations occur in writing at least three business days before your scheduled visit. Please email your cancellation to [email protected]. Please note that refunds will NOT be given for reservations cancelled less than one business day before the scheduled date. Groups will be responsible for their minimum tour fee if they are a no show, or cancel less than 24 hours before the scheduled tour time. Please be prompt. Groups more than 30 minutes late will forfeit their time slot.
You may pay for your tour by cash, check, or credit card. Tours must be paid for at least three days before the scheduled date. Checks should be made payable to The Gibbes Museum of Art. Please be sure to write the words “Group Tour” on the check. We’re sorry that we cannot give reimbursements if there are fewer people in your group than initially scheduled.
While we don’t have an indoor lunch space, in warmer weather, groups may reserve our outdoor courtyard for picnics. We invite school groups to store bagged lunches in the classrooms.
