Dramatic Watercolors through Glazing with Peggy Ellis

Class meets for two sessions on Tuesday and Wednesday, November 7-8 from 10am-4pm.This class will explore using glazing techniques to create strong luminous hues through layering colors. Taught by Peggy Ellis of Reinert Fine Art Gallery. Visit her website to see more examples of her work.

$200 Members | $240 Non Members

Suggested supplies: Arches 140-lb. cold press watercolor paper or a 12 x 15 cold press paper pad; cardboard to tape paper to; basic watercolor palette; Cheap Joe's Golden Fleece Giant brush (Size 38), size 6 round brush, size 1in. flat brush, scrubber brush, 2B pencil, gum eraser and sketch pad; Paints: yellow ochre, raw sienna, cadmium red, sap green, burnt sienna, burnt umber, cerulean blue, cobalt blue, ultramarine blue, alizarin crimson, cadmium yellow. *A starter watercolor kit can be requested upon registration for an additional $50, payable to instructor.

Supplies are also available at Artist and Craftsman Uptown located at 981 King Street.
