Face Lift: The Power of Portraits

Offering a fresh look at trends in American portraiture from the 18th century to today, this special exhibition presents thought-provoking juxtapositions. Oils, works on paper, photographs, and sculpture will be highlighted in this encore exhibition of outstanding portraits from the Gibbes’ collection, enhanced by objects from private collections.

Face Lift: Caption This! Enjoy the entertaining captions contributed to our blog by visitors during the exhibition.

Face Lift is sponsored by BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina, Gibbes, etc., and The Little Black Book for Every Busy Woman.
